So has anyone figured out how to block people from just jumping into your games without an invite first? :p

Friends are cool and all, but sometimes you just want to putter around solo. I find it hard to believe Blizzard released this game without the ability to toggle a “leave me alone” switch, yet I haven’t found it.

I’ve had this strange sensation all morning of being right on the verge of an adrenaline rush, but not quite having one. It is very disconcerting to feel like you’re almost in “fight or flight” but not quite there. For hours. Stop it, body. Unless this is my mutant powers manifesting sort of like spidey senses, in which case, I’m *totally* ready for this and promise to use my powers only for good. Honest. Pardon me, I need to go see if I stick to walls.

Videos like this always crack me up. I am so immersed in my day to day world that I sometimes forget how alien it looks to other people (even more so when they are trying to explain it to others while trying to grasp it themselves). A long time ago, I drove an ex crazy with the fact I’d wear combat boots and t-shirts to job interviews because I saw no point in pretending I was anything other than who I was and I knew that there were places that would allow me to join, grow, and thrive in their environments. That the quality of my work, my skills, and my work ethic was more important than a “suit”. In August of 2001…somewhere around their 100th employee, I found that home.
